What you’ll do
NOTE: This is a Fall/Winter/Spring activity.
Translated from the Japanese term shinrin-yoku, forest bathing is also known as forest therapy.
Participants will learn about this practice in a beautiful wooded area overlooking the ocean.
This deep immersion journey follows a rugged wildlife trail through an old forest with a high level of biodiversity.
Participants will engage in a variety of sensory activities that will help reveal the stories of the forest through art, science and geometry and provide inspiration for nature journaling.
Slow and purposeful walking meditations will gently guide busy minds into a state of calm. Being present in the moment is key to a successful forest bathing experience.
Once the walk is complete, participants have the option to gather around a bonfire to finish up journal entries, share experiences or just sit quietly and enjoy few moments of peace before heading home.
