This is it.

The place to get away from it all and experience life in a quaint fishing village off the beaten track but close to the city.

Harbour Retreat is a lovely spot for a solo traveler to recharge. The tiny house is cozy and well appointed with everything you need…even for an extended stay.

Martinique Beach is a short 4 minute drive away, a secret beach is only a 10 minute walk away, and a full day spa is just up the road. The backyard at Harbour Retreat has lots of peaceful spots to sit quietly and listen to the birds by day and at night watch the stars by a bonfire. There are also plenty of hiking trails, beaches and yummy places to eat in the area (including food delivery from a mediterranean restaurant!).

All amenities are at your fingertips: groceries, restaurants, artisan shops, markets, liquor store, gas, bank, pharmacy, laundromat.

Signature Experience

Enjoy a day of creative wellbeing with local lobster rope weaver, eco-artist and environmentalist, Wendy Hanlan. Journey down a path of wellness with Wendy, who will guide you in making nautical home decore using ghost gear collected from local coastlines and creating nature artworks from the forest using eco-friendly materials. You will leave with completed artworks and the beginnings of a nature journal to continue your wellness journey at home. We’ll work outside and enjoy the gorgeous views of the Petpeswick Inlet, snack on delicious charcuterie and take a stroll to a secret beach.

Wendy is so personable and well-spoken that at the end it felt like we had made a new friend and left with a lovely piece of craftwork that was created to make the experience even more memorable! Beautiful location overlooking the ocean, and it’s a great feeling to know that the materials used were collected from the ocean which reduces ocean waste but is also reused to create art! The process is fun, not stressful, and at the end you feel pretty proud with what you’ve built! Thank you so much, Wendy! You are wonderful!
